I don’t know exactly how this is working, I should find out more, but I have found these little gems, all bits of music that are in the public domain. The public domain for U<\/a> is a collection of old blues and gospel music, which is no longer bound by copyright. And then there is the incomparable Blind Willie Johnson with ‘Praise god I’m satisfied’<\/a>, which could be interpreted as being somewhat ambiguous (but Anna Bijns<\/a> was already being ambiguous in the 16th century…)<\/p>\n In any case, you hear the vinyl cracks in the mp3. Beautiful..<\/p>\n I bumped into the public domain through Remix Reading<\/a>, where you can upload and download bigger stuff and images and, all of this under a creative commons license…<\/p>\n
